Hipster

A variation of the Wallflower that is known for their ironic and apathetic attitude and style. Most hipsters are actually unaware of their hipsterism and are often confused with hipster posers, whom openly announce that they are hipsters. Hipsters are trend setters whilst these posers are actually following the trend of hipsterism. The typical hipster is known for shopping at thrift stores, hanging around a cafe, or browsing a record store for indie inspiration in both music and fashion.

Person 1: Omg did you see Emma? She thinks she is such a hipster just because she uploads photos on instagram.

Person 2: Lol what a lame ass.

B)"I totally started wearing Chacos my sophomore year before everyone else "
"Nahh, hipster dibs. I got my first pair in seventh grade"

hipster hotbox

noun. A room in which nerds vape together with the doors and windows shut so the room fills up with thick clouds of water vapor. Commonly used for taking selfies in the cloud, and crowd sourcing a sense of belonging and coolness.

It was a total hipster hotbox in there, I couldn't see past all the selfie sticks and water vapor.

Hipsteria

Any thing or establishment that opens or begins, that is soon swarmed by hashtagging, fur boot wearing, plaid shirt loving, thick rimmed glasses not needing, gel haired lumberjack wanna be's. This usually is followed up by reviews and foodie pics posted at numberous places online, resulting in hours long lines to get said product, regardless of how good it actually is. Sometimes just the interior of a restaurant or building can be enough to set off a firestorm of Hipsteria.

"Franklins BBQ is purdy good, but the Hipsteria there makes the line farrrrrr too long, I'm going to Rudy's"

A hipster lives off of coffee. He or she is like a mystery that you really want to uncover. Male hipsters look like Fancy lumberjacks (sometimes with man buns) Female hipsters wear over sized sweaters, combat boots, messy buns or complicated braids and nerd glasses. Everyone secretly wants to be a hipster.

Look at that hottie over there at the coffee shop on his laptop!
