Think the opposite of 'friends with benefits'. In essence, you are so close to being a girl's boyfriend you get all the negative effects, but none of the positive.
Dude 1: "She's been bitching at me all day."
Dude 2: "Yeah, most guys tend to have friends with liabilities."

(fluff)Friends is an amazingly addictive Facebook application created by Mike Sego in which you choose a (fluff)Friend to adopt and take care of. There are 65 adoptable (fluff)Friends and 7 other (fluff)Friends covering all kinds of animals. You can buy food, decorations, habitats, etc. with your "munny" that you earn by petting, taking surveys, and racing. Your (fluff)Friend has to be fed to keep them in a good mood. You can also buy gold (10 Gold for $1.00) to buy even more decorations. You can also participate in contests put on by the website. You can also participate in the (fluff)forum to take your fluff experience to the next level.

The situation where:
1. Friend A gets introduced to Friend C by Friend B.
2. Friend A and Friend C get along better with each other than with Friend B (usually Friend B is just unstable and irrational).
3. Friend A and Friend C become best friends, and exclude Friend B completely.

Jan: "Cindy, this is my friend Marsha"
Cindy: "Marsha, I like you better than I like Jan, let's go to the club and meet guys together, don't tell Jan."
Marsha: "OK, we are having a friend affair you know."
Jan: "boo hoo! i am sad"

Two or more people who share everything with one another, knowing they can be trusted. People who would, if needed, take a bullet for their friend(s). Two or more people who, through all the new friends, new hobbies, new jobs, rough times, and high school, are always there for eachother, no matter how busy they are. A best friend is someone who can make you feel better no matter what.
In some cases, the two or more part doesn't apply. It is quite possible to be your own best friend.

Once you find your best friend(s), hold on to them forever, for they are hard to find and oh so special.

Some one who
-viciously spreads rumors behind your back but pretends to want to be your friend.
-tells you to be yourself but gets mad when you tell them the truth.
-only talks about themselves and their own petty self inflicted dramas.
-constantly verbally beats you down while pretending that by pointing out your flaws they are doing you a favor.
-calls their friend a coward for confronting or standing up for themselves.
-only needs a shoulder to cry on and doesn't care about you.
-might even be insane.

Sarah always tried to be nice to me, then I crossed the line and she called me out on it. At first I was really angry but then I realized I had been a real fake friend to her this year.
