1) The trend of university freshers getting shitter each year, i.e. participating in less extra-curricular activity, going out less, lowered promiscuity

2) The trend seen with university clubs and societies, in which attendance from fresher members of the group declines to negligible levels over the semester(s)

an illegal immigrant that claims refugee status before clearing customs on entering a county.

Someone arrives into Sydney Airport from the Phillipines with passport in hand, then before reaching the customs officers runs to the bathroom and flushes the passport down the toilet (i.e. passport flusher). When they go to clear customs they claim refugee status.
