GOAT

Rec.sport.tennis official definition - Greatest Of All Time <at some crap or other to do with tennis>.

Originally merely the greatest tennis player to have ever lived, but that usage has been deprecated, as it didn't cater for a wide enough range of categories/qualities in a considered player. The new expanded terminology now includes all factors possible and usually specifies a mandatory distinction be pre-attached eg.Chick-magnet GOAT.

Talent and Ability GOATs are hotly debated and considered by many uninformed/silly folks to be Mr.R.Federer of Sweden, however, those with some experience/knowledge state Fabrice Santoro, McEnroe or Nadal in their evidence.

Pete Sampras is rated as the Supreme GOAT, using the RST 7543 ultimate tennis ranking system.
