When an extra eco-friendly person shames you for using convenient everyday plastic or paper products that have recently been deemed harmful for the environment.

My coworker plastic-shamed me for ten minutes when she saw my sandwich in a plastic baggie.

The act of explaining facts to someone in an effort to get them to realize they are acting in a shameful manner. Often used to convince people to stop believing that others are deceived by their bullshit.
