bibliosomnia

The drifting off to sleep while reading a book or other reading material. Could also work while watching TV.
A man goes to the doctor's office and says, "I'm worried about my father, we keep finding him fast asleep with a book in his lap, or a magazine sliding down his chest. What's happening to him?"

The doctor nods, consults her notes, and says, "A classic case of bibliosomnia, plan and simple. Has he considered listening to podcasts instead?"
