It has been around since the days of the Beatles and Byrds. The genre found its greatest critical and mainstream popularity in the mid-1980s, with bands like The Smiths, R.E.M., Felt, Big Star, and many more. You hear a lot of "Jangly" acts in today's music especially in the Indie Genre. The Chorus Pedal takes that "jangly" sound to a whole new level.
