A (generally poor) joke made to a peron for the express purpose of talking to them.

Tom- "Hey Jenny, why'd the chicken cross the road? He needed change for a twenty!"
Jenny- "That doesn't even ma--"
Tom- "So what are you doing later?"
Jenny- "Was that a space-filler joke?"

To have one's previous way of thinking completely changed; to be extremely bewildered by new information and beginning to question one's previous thoughts.

Space Jam

Basketball superstar Michael Jordan and cartoon favorite Bugs Bunny team up with other basketball greats and Looney Tunes characters in this combination animated/live-action feature. Jordan must help the Looney Tunes gang with a basketball game against a group of outer space creatures whose plan, if they win, is to kidnap the Looney Tunes and take them to a failing government system where Jordan must relocate the current president of Zootopia. This was known as, Operation Space Jam.

space-doubling mirror

A mirror placed in the corner of a room to create the illusion that there are other rooms on the other side of the mirror.

It occurred to me that placing a vertical mirror in the corner of my living room I could create the illusion of more space and enjoy that illusion, so two-weeks ago I dared to try that and it worked. A week ago I placed another what I'll call "space-doubling mirror" on the opposite corner. Looking at the first mirror reflected on the first, or in the second at the first, more than doubles the illusion of more space. Each mirror is 1 by 5 feet.
