Pastel Gamer

A gamer who likes pastel aesthetics usually has a pastel setup and surrounds themselves with the pastel theme. Their theme could be all the pastel colors or just a specific color or two but it is usually just very light colors. They are usually into soft cute things but can be found playing any game.

There are a lot of cute pastel gamers nowadays.
My friend is a pastel gamer. She has a lot of plushies and plays animal crossing.

True Gamer

Look, listen, and learn. Being a true gamer isn't about playing every game," A TRUE gamer plays from the HEART." They Play Games the way their supposed to be played. They don't play halo online to get 1st place all the time, they play because they want to. They play to play. And they learn from their mistakes and slowly they become better and better, THAT'S WHAT MAKES YOU A TRUE GAMER. Not all that other BS.

Your're playing Halo you keep getting killed by the same guy. Like i said learn from your mistakes, observe that player watch his/her moves. Give him/her some props say something like your good man then maybe ya'll will team up in another game. THAT'S AN EXAMPLE OF TRUE GAMING RIGHT THERE, being a team even though your on the blue he/she's on the red. Not being a big noob like when someone keeps killing you you say "YOU DUMB MOTHER F'ER STOP SHOOTING ME YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF", yeah well you know. Don't do that it's bogus and people are going to think you're every bad word in the dictionary. So there you have it. Straight from the true gamer himself.

Core gamer

A core gamer is someone who plays a larger variety of games than a casual gamer but doesn't play video games with the intensity and dedication of a hardcore gamer.

Using an MMORPG as an example, a core gamer would normally progress through their levels at a steady rate and might join a guild but never divulge too seriously into it or use their guild on occasion, a hardcore gamer would want their guild to be the best and constantly do raids and work out techniques.

Hardcore gamer: "My guild is ranked 400 on the leaderboards, tomorrow we are going to get a new recruit end-game items."

Core gamer: "I play alone/with friends and use my guild for help when I need it, or offer help when others need it but I'm not too concerned with ours being the best."

Toxic Gamer

Generally aged 5-10 years old, this person has severe insecurity issues. So much so, in fact, that when they go onto an online game, they attempt to bring down their opponents (and sometimes even their teammates) by bullying them, targeting them in games, and slandering them over the game chat.

They are sore losers, too, and refuse to believe that anyone who beats them at an online game is a skilled player, and not some form of a hacker who "used scripts" to beat them.
