Mammoth Tank

The strongest non-Epic Unit in Command and Conquer 3. It is the successor to the Mammoth Walker in Command and Conquer Tiberian Sun, and the original Command and Conquer. The C&C Wikia states that the tank has twin 150mm cannons, which can be upgraded to railguns, two missile pods, and "is covered in thick, hexagonal armour." Whatever that means.

Did you see the new Mammoth 27's in C&C 3? They're badass.

That guy defeated me with a Mammoth tank rush. I don't like dying, but, those Mammoths are SO much cooler than Zerglings. I'd rather be killed by a Mammoth than a Zergling.

A term referring to something, (often a sector or market,) that has performed very poorly or well below expectations.

Something is said to "Be tanking" while it is on it's way down and performing poorly.

"The company's profits were in the tank."
"His performance was tanking."
"Because of Ad blockers, site ad revenue was in the tank!"

Thanksplosion

The habit of everyone in a business meeting or teleconference to thank each other individually at the end of the call/meeting. The size of the thanksplosion usually ranges from the number of meeting participants to approximately half of the number of meeting participants, squared. For example, a 6-person meeting will usually end with 6-18 "thanks guys" or "thank you"'s.

At the end of my conference call with 7 sales reps, I braced myself for the thanksplosion which was sure to have us all parroting the phrase "thanks guys" for a solid 4 minutes.
