Someone who wants to get to the bottom of a mystery until they do and it's longer a mystery is bullshit.

The engineer invented a crystal ball machine that got to the bottom of a mystery, and still ended up destroying it because some people couldn't really handle the mystery they thought they wanted to get to the bottom of. Bullshit people are the most cynical people in the world, which is why they always want to hear positive bullshit and convince themselves that they are full of boundless optimism, when really they're just full of shit.

Someone who wants to get to the bottom 9f a mystery until they do and it's no longer a mystery. Once it's no longer a mystery they want to go back and make it a mystery again, to keep their notion of hope alive.

Fuck hope, it's for weak people. Bullshit people want to be nosy and dig up the bottom of a rabbit hole until there is no more mystery, expecting nothing less than a miracle all the time. Once they are shown the mystery, they want it to be a mystery again, they pretend it will bring the world hope, when really they're only trying to make their own life better, the hope is only for them because without it they are weak.

When someone tries to tell you something that you know is not the truth, it is an "alarm" that goes off in your head telling you not to fall for the lie.

I was at the dentist's office and they were selling me something at a high cost that I did not need. My bullshit alarm went off that day, and I got red-faced with extreme anger!
