A word that would be useful if stupid poseurs didn't use it all the time.

Proper usage:
That band alienated their fan base and changed their style according to what the record company wants, that means they're sellouts.

Improper usage:
OMG THAY SOLD 30,000 RECORDS?!!11111 WAT SELLOUTS....
or
OMG THAY GOT ONTO TV???/// SELLLL OUTS
or
OMGZZ THEY R GETING SPONSORED BY SUM BIG COMPENY??// SELLOUTS!!11111

sellout

selling out is the term used when someone disregards their integrity, self respect, friendship or morals to achieve a shallow personal gain eg. money, popularity, acceptance.
unfortunately it has losts its meaning as it has been thrown aroung lightly eg. " i liked them (some band) until they sold 1 million records a damn sell outs".
One can only sellout if they had sumething to sell out to begin with. Girls aloud cannot sellout as they were intentionaly a money making outfit from their creation.

The worst family on the internet right behind morgz's family, Her youngest I assume has 96 million on tic tacs or smt like that and her sister......... no. Most of their fans are cringy 12-15 yr olds that do lip syncs with songs such as uh I forgot tbh. Sometimes I wish the word: Charli never combined with : tic tac. Man its 2020 what can you say

The complete and utter lost cause of posting an entry to this site. I always try to appear compus-mentus when adding an entry. By the time it appeares here, I'm an illeriterate window-licker.

Uhhh, entry. Cannot enter entry correctly due to lack of education, qualifiactions, typing skills. Make contributor look like dick-splash, uhh!!! Cannot spell.

Tori Spelling

American actress most "famous" for her role in Beverly Hills, 90210, which she only got because her father is an extremely powerful television producer. She does not appear in any roles anymore and does nothing of significance, however she still manages to stay in the tabloids because of the influence her father had. The magazines comment on her attractiveness, yet it is somewhat of a paradox because no real person actually thinks that.

"Have you ever heard of Tori Spelling?"
"Yeah, she's pretty ugly. What's she famous for again?"
"I don't know. I guess she's famous... for being famous... I guess..."

That person was probably not the least non uninteligent organic life form it's been my extreme lack of dipleasure not having been able to avoid meeting. Oh I wish I were an Oscar Meyer wiener.
