Whilst engaged in rounds of drinks (usually in a pub or bar) one or more member of said round decides to buy an extra drink out of their own pocket to supplement their own consumption. Popular term in norn iron, especially the Derry/Londonderry area.
Tom: are you getting the drinks in already?
