Three letters introducing a meme or video caption that mean absolutely nothing. You could remove the "POV" and the caption would not change meaning at all.
Technically stands for "point of view," as in the image is what the viewer would see if they were there, but this definition appears to have been completely lost on most content generators.

The selfie caption "POV: check out this sunset behind me!" has absolutely nothing to do with a POV.

In the early age POV means point of view but now in Bengali it means 'Poder ojon vari' (heavy ass). Those whose ass weight is really heavy, only they write POV on their posts, and they are proud of it very much. This word is not needed in the sentence. Yet they write POV randomly before every sentence. So that everyone realizes their ass is heavy. They think POV adds some aesthetic touch to their sentences.

1)POV: you're addicted to mutton.
2)POV: Jonny should love me.
