klav khalash

A food delicacy from God-knows-where that can be found for sale on lunch carts in downtown New York City. It comes on a stick, not in a bowl. Tastes best when washed down with a few cans of crab juice.

I wanted pizza for lunch but I had to settle for a few sticks of klav khalash.

Kalashnikov culture

(In Pakistan) A culture emerging as a result of Soviet-Afghan war marked by easy availability automatic fire arms and settlement of disputes with guns and blood shed. Many of American arms sent for Afghanistan ended up in Pakistani black markets from where anybody could buy them. Assault rifle Kalashnikov (also known as AK-47) has been the most popular automatic weapon until recently and has become the name sake of this culture.

Talibanization is another manifestation of Kalashnikov culture.

Karashia

Originated in the first African American Town, Brooklyn, Illinois. Carrie Bell-Millard, a school teacher of 45 years, arrange letters, to form the name Karashia. Karashia is Mary Adams; and, Fred and Carrie Bell-Millard's oldest grand daughter.

Karashia was born to Albert and Joyce (Millard) Tabbs on November 9, 1967 at 9:10am.
