Text Illiterate

A person who uses informal slang terms in their text messages such as (dats, cuz, u, wuz, ur, n)

John: Hey man are you coming to the party?

Devin: ya man iz it 2nite?

John: dude what the fuck is that.

Devin: wat r u tlkin about?

John: dude your being totally text illiterate grow up you sound like a 13 year old douche.

Grocery store illiterate

When someone is told to get a specific item at the store and they come back with something totally wrong/different/random.

Or, when one cannot find a very simple and/or easily displayed item at the grocery store.

I asked Brian to get green chiles for my taco salad and the fool came back with hormel chili in a can, he is so grocery store illiterate.

"Excuse me, where are the candy bars?" -brian

"In the checkout line, where they always are. Are you grocery store illiterate or something?" -store employee

I sent Tyler an emoji and he didn't understand, so he asked me what it meant. He is clearly emoji illiterate, but I can teach him the meaning to all of them.
