In the Gay community in the 1960's, this meant the gay bar everyone went to on Sunday morning after being out all night Saturday catting around. You would medicate your hangover, find out how everybody did the night before, etc.

Basically it is more fundraisers and bible studies that actually getting your sins forgiven and doing what you are supposed to do... WORSHIP!!

Yeah I might as well skip church this Sunday because all they are doing is sucking money that could be used for a nice McDonald's dinner for the new addition they are going to rennovate.

2) a place where Christians gather together in the name of euphoria, sing-a-longs, dress up, etc, in order to feel good about one's self.
3) a cult, view, religion, ideology, sect, etc.

1)If you are in a building where people listen to you and accept who you are as a person despite the circumstances, its not church, its an AA Meeting.
