When you spend all day Sunday at the bars in Southie (usually Stats) getting so hammered you have to call out of work sick on Monday

Something to say to win an argument with a liberal. The goal here is to present a supposed point that they may believe is relevant to the conversation, however it is just some made up bullshit. Through the use of something like “purple Sunday”, a liberal will likely leave in a cloud of shame to go research purple Sunday just to find this definition.

“Come back and we can finish this argument once you know what purple Sunday is. How could you not know what purple Sunday is”
