go ugly early

During prohibition this was a phrase used by Harry's Chocolate Shop, a Bar in West Lafayette, IN which called itself a chocolate shop to avoid being known as a bar. Their slogan "Go Ugly Early" was the opposite of its real meaning "come pretty late"

Phrase finder suggests that the saying originates from the dictionary definition of the term "suck-egg" which refers to:

- An animal that is reputed to suck eggs, e.g. a weasel; figuratively. an avaricious person.

It is also considered to be a dismissive insult similar to the term fuck off but is less abrasive.

its an insult from the remake of the 90's movie IT. Richie Tozier ( Trashmouth ) says it after beating the shit out of Henry Bowers and his goons with help of the losers club. After he was saying the phrase he gives the weirdo both birds, then joins the rest of the ' Losers '
