screen check

A "Screen Check" or "Screen Checking" is when a cop in a patrol vehicle brake checks when a suspect is handcuffed in the backseat. Due to the suspect being handcuffed, and hands not free to block, the suspects face will smash into the metal screen divider of the patrol car. This will cause cutting and bruising and sometimes a broken nose.

"He wasn't bloody when he left the scene. What did you do? Screen check him?"
"Oh, you know Sarg, those damn suicide squirrels."

When you take advantage of the passive and submissiveness of people and a situation for personal gain based on your belief in your personal freedoms.

The man crossed the street during a green light preventing the flow of traffic claiming you can't hit me, "I'm protected by pedestrian right of way laws, you can't hit me" as the cars honked. This man is freedom checking the people around him feeling entitled to his personal freedom.

a phrase for the slightly insane...to be said at one's leisure when ambulatory. a visual check for the secret police, regular police, riff-raff, hit squad, trumpers and/or libtards coming for YOU ! . seeing as how civil war is right on the horizon, a few extra moments to grab your guns (plural, OF COURSE!) is nice !
