Shimho-ing

The act of changing the topic when someone who shouldn't hear the topic is passing by.

Person 1: "Hey so you know Mike is really messed up..."
Person 2: "Yeah dude that guy's such a loser"
*Mike passes by*
Person 1: "So what's Shimho doing now? I heard he's got a new job"
Person 1 just commited the act of Shimho-ing by changing the topic to something about Shimho.

Oldham-ing

Oldham-ing or to be a bit of an Oldham......is to exist with no knowledge of the modern world's idioms and to be continually perplexed by new phrases.

Normally just a problem for the very old. But occasionally someone you know will drop themselves right in it for the amusement of all !

"Last night someone asked to hook up, I thought it was just drugs but ended up having sex in a lay by. Doh! What am I like?"

Jake-ing

To feign knowledge of a subject and find a reason to check your phone to google said subject to identify buzz phrases of subect in order to seem well read on said subject.

Yeah I mean he wrote good stories, but his Jake-ing on literally every subject was just too fucking much.
