Level ! is a level in the backrooms where you fucking run for your life. Its twenty kilometers long from end to end and you spawn in the center of the level immediately being chased by basically every harmful entity imaginable. The only thing that's helping you is random energy bars that you can grab and eat to replenish your energy but only while on the run.

level zero

when you fall out of the level in a video game or otherwise glitch into a normally forbidden or unintended gameplay area. Not like skipping through a locked door, but getting behind or under set pieces where you were never supposed to be. Like minecraft's void (under the bedrock).

I got stuck in level zero so I've just been exploring the map from below.

Don't jump over that building. It doesn't load the next area, it's just level zero.
