When someone preaches some truths, you use this phrase (usually in comment sections online) as a way of agreeing.
For instance on Facebook you may have:

"That's what I'm tryna say" is a term used colloquially in the north-west Philly area (mainly at the Hill School--a boarding school in Pottstown, PA). This phrase is used when something good happens, and you would like to signify that you enjoyed it. Think of it as saying, oh wow thats neat! This phrase is usually said quickly and with an accent unlike your own.
