A brat who has lost their way. They blame bad behavior on being a brat, attempting to use that to excuse their behavior. In reality they are really just being an asshole.

Get the Dark bratmug. Formerly the New Right, the result of the GOP enabling extreme right wing behavior since 1979, with the Iran hostage crisis and the advent of the Reagan era. This socio-political philosophy has combined a draconian laissez faire ideology (at the expense of workers' rights, consumer protection, banking reforms and regulation) with the rejections of social programs and progressive social policy and an aggressive military/diplomatic doctrine. In the intervening years, this ideology has degenerated, from the New Right to Neoconservativism to the Tea Party to the Alt Right movement to White Nationalism. With the hijacked election of 2000, the New Right had essentially become the Dark Right.
