The term originated from Black WWII veterans after returning back home from fighting fascist Nazis and were still being mistreated and called "black boy" by grown white adults and young white kids. These Black veterans along with their new found confidence, stood up for themselves and beat down a few white men and said, "I fought for my country...I dare you to call me boy again, white boy!". And thus the term white boy was born.

A term used to diminish a white girl into a racial stereotype. Basic white girls are commonly known to like Starbucks, Hoodies over leggings, long hair in no specific haircut, likes Taylor Swift, uggs, white Nike Air Force 1’s or the white adidas shoes with black stripes.
If a white girl is involved/associated with many of these things, she may get called a basic white girl. The term can be hurtful or unreasonable though, causing many white girls to be nervous about being thrown into the stereotype if they have even slight similarities, or insecure about their race. Some don’t care and are being a stereotype. Manytry to divert from such qualities. But then some try too hard and get told they are being a pick me girl or trying to be “not like other girls.” It’s gets all very complicated.
I think we should just stop putting people in boxes because of their race. I admit I’ve laughed at some basic white girl jokes, and cracked some of my own. But I’m trying to move away from the term. People should be able to be themselves without being seen as a group of “basic people,” and stripped down to their stereotypical qualities and traits.

“You see that girl in the uggs? She is such a basic white girl. Definitely listens to Taylor Swift and drinks Starbucks.”
“Have you ever listened to basic white girl music?”
“You know basic white girls? It’s that stereotype about how they listen to shit like Taylor Swift, drink Starbucks a lot, wear white Nike air forces, etc.”

"BRO WHO EVEN ARE YOU?" - Edgar Algeria
"That was such a white boy comeback."
"He's the king of White boy comebacks. bro."
White boy comebacks. are unfunny comebacks in an argument.
