Get the I haven't done this to anyone mug.When a person suddenly & without warning switches from the recovery phase of their psychosis (when there are few of any symptoms present) to the active phase (hallucinations, delusions, paranoia & erratic/odd behavior). Often doing a duffy or done a duffy is referring to someone finding out about their friend or associate's mental disorder for the first time after witnessing the sudden appearance of full blown psychosis.
