If you see a Cole a lot and they start to become less of a stranger, they can still be considered a Cole, but as soon as you make contact with them, they start to become less of a Cole. If you befriend a Cole or become closer to them in some way, they should now be considered a former Cole. A former Cole could also be someone who just stopped being relevant.
