cheerleading

a strenuous sport that consists of tumbling, sharp motions, dance, stunting, actual cheers, and spirit. most people don't consider cheerleading a sport, but I think that competitive cheerleading IS a sport. If its only sideline cheering, like for games, then it shouldnt be considered a sport. people who snub cheerleaders and say we're just whores that dance around and yell "GO ____________!!" are WRONG. its not fair how everybody stereotypes cheerleaders just because of movies or shows. competitive cheerleading IS a sport.

other atheletes lift weights, but in cheerleading, you lift athletes.

cheerleading

A SPORT. Consists of cheering, dancing, jumping, tumbling (gymnastics), and stunting. Not just where you yell "go team go". Where you go flipping through the air, throwing people 30 feet in the air. Compete in 2 and a half minute routines. Make football players look like pussys because we go flying 30 feet in the air,and if we fall, we don't have all those pads to protect us.

A sport with girls and boys working together... you lift weights ... we lift people!!!! the true reason people watch football and basketball games.... if people only go to football games to watch the game then how come at cheer competitions the room is FILLED with fans!
