Atheist

Somebody who doesn't believe in God or a deity of sorts and needs to make sure everybody is aware of this

Regular folk: "Hi, I'm Dave"

Atheist: "Hi, I'm an atheist"

Regular: "Oh, cool, so what's your name?"

Atheist: "My name is Ethan, because it sounds similar to atheist, because I am an atheist"

Regular: "What the fuck is wrong with you?"

Atheist: "What's wrong with me?! You're the idiot who believes in a God!"

*Regular folk beats up atheist and then feels guilt*

Atheist: "It's ok, you won't go to Hell, because it doesn't exist, I don't believe it exists because I am an atheist"

the belief that there was always nothing and then nothing exploded into something and that something turned into planets and stars and on one planet formed replicating discs that formed into dinosaurs

Definition 1: A person who doesn't believe in a god
Definition 2: a person who believes in evolution
Definition 3: a person who tries to shove their believes down your throat
Definition 4: a person who believes everything scientist say

Religious person: Do you believe that god(s) exist?
Atheist: No i'm atheist

Religious person: do you believe in god?
Atheist: a god couldn't exist because something had to create it (even though they believe a explosion came from nothing)

Religious person: do you believe in god
Atheist: Kill yourself god doesn't exist and he hates everything, evolution is everything

Religious person: do you believe in jesus
Atheist: scientist never proved he exist plus einstein was an atheist
which is actually false he was an agnostic.

Atheism

The lack of a belief in the existence of a god or gods. This usually also means a lack in a belief in an afterlife, the soul, the supernatural, or any sort of ultimate reality outside of the physical one.

For the atheist, reality is limited to reductionist empiricism, morals are usually relative or determined by the rules of conduct that make civilization possible, life is it's own purpose, and the truth or falsity of religious beliefs is apparently subject to evidence (though there are no specifications as to what these are).

Athesim is not, despite many claims here, the default belief of all life or humanity at birth. To say that babies and animals are atheists is silly simply because we cannot ask them, and some indeed even argue that they are aware of the presence of "god" within them. Also, the fact that nearly every culture around the globe has, in some form or another, developed some mode of religious belief goes to show that religion is a much deeper part of the human experience than this particualr brand of atheism will admit.
