Then in high school, bands like Slipknot and Linkin Park were already becoming popular. Nowadays with the decline of nu-metal, more and more people are running with the world and listening to bands like Killswitch Engage and Shadows Fall.
And of course the hip-hop trend, which was alway present throughout the 90s, has never died out yet.
