The opposite of rags to riches. Rags to riches to rags, meaning someone downgraded big time and their life got way worse from before. Their life used to be good and now it's really bad.

An interesting guy, who will make that one sport he does, his whole entire personality. He will use it in every sentence and talk about it constantly. He is decent at the sport but not the best which is why he compensates with the obsession. He loves eggs.
