Spook Magic

When an event, action, or outcome that seems to unnecessarily favor the opposing side in a given scenario/situation. Typically, the result of 'Spook Magic' revolves around the idea that whatever the occurrence, it should not have happened and could only be the result of otherworldly intervention or mystical power.
