73rd Gangsters crips or better known as The 73 Gangster Crips are a Los Angeles-based African-American street gang that originated in the Vermont Knolls neighborhood of West South Central Los Angeles, primarily around 73rd Street between Van Ness Avenue and Vermont Avenue. They are part of the larger Gangster Crip (3x) alliance and operate within the jurisdiction of the LAPD 77th Street Division. The 73 Gangster Crips are known to be active in narcotics distribution, firearms possession, robberies, assaults, and gang-related homicides.
