A person who formerly worked in the prison system enforcing rules and overseeing inmates, but who has since abandoned their official role and become involved in organized criminal activities, often leveraging insider knowledge of law enforcement and the justice system to navigate or exploit criminal enterprises but will quick to flip in order to stay out of trouble because they still got their roots.
