This is based off the Nickelodeon show Rocket Power and the relationship between the characters Twister and Reggie. The four characters of the show (Twister, Reggie, Otto and Squid) all hung out together, and often each character was involved in one-on-one situations with each character. However, Twister and Reggie rarely interacted one-on-one and had a friendship that only existed because they were part of a larger group of friends.
