Satellite pilot

Any senior member of a company that keeps their job and/or gets promoted by taking credit for successes that would have happened regardless of their presence. Typically these people are found in companies where all the hard work has been done and the company now makes money automatically no matter what anyone does. Just like once all the hard work of getting a satellite in orbit is done it will usually stay in orbit.
