poofter stick

The spider, as used in a game of pool (it's like a cue except with a plastic X on the end) which is used for making shots where it is difficult to lean across the table. Called the poofter stick, as it takes the easy way out.

By convention, if a player uses the poofter stick and fails to sink their shot, then the stick is automatically named after that player. Their name remains attached to the stick until another player misses a shot.

Craig: Ball's too far away. I'm gonna use the poofter stick.

(He misses the shot; later)

Bill: Pass the Craig Stick.

first poster

A person whose main goal in life is to post first on an internet video, picture, or anything else that allows comments. Usually this person will simply post "First!" or something along those lines rather than making an insightful or meaningful comment. First posters, while they themselves often believe that they are serving a valuable purpose and/or accomplishing something by being first, are generally disrespected by much of the rest of the online community.

First poster #1: "I was the first to post on a Failblog picture on March 17, 2008. It ended up getting 946 comments."
Neil Armstrong: "Wow, that's really impressive. I was the first person to walk on the moon."
Babe Ruth: "I was the first player to hit 60 home runs in a season AND the first to hit 700 career home runs!"
Albert Einstein: "Well I was the first to prove the relationship between mass and energy as well as many other fundamental principles of the universe that had puzzled scientists since the beginning of time."
Sir Edmund Hillary: "I was the first to climb Mt. Everest."
First poster #1: "What did you do up there?"
Sir Edmund Hillary: "I put up a sign that said 'First!!!' and got my ass back down that mountain. It was freezing up there, dude!"

Porter

This guy is quite literally one of the best people you will ever meet in your life. He has a great sense of humor and will laugh with you for hours. There is a specific amount of people that he cares about and if you are one of those people, he makes you feel very special. Not only does he have the best personality but he is one of those "really attractive without even trying" people. He is really sexy! But also cuddly and cute.

I'm sure you can be as lucky as i am and meet a Porter.

miss porter's school

Miss Porter's School is a boarding school for girls, grade 9 through 12, located in Farmington, Connecticut. It is ranked number 1 all-girls school in the US. There are only about 89 students per grade, with the class average of 11 students and student teacher ratio of 1:8. It has one of the highest average SAT scores throughout high schools. Notable alumni include Jacqueline Kennedy, Gloria Vanderbilt, Dorothy Bush(Former-President Bush's sister), Dorothy Walker Bush(President bush's mother), Mamie Gummer(Meryl Streep's daughter) and Alice Hamilton. The school is very well-respected and famous donators include Oprah Winfrey. Miss Porter's School has sent many of its students to Ivy League colleges. It is difficult to get accepted to attend there. The acceptance rate of 2011 was very low according to the admissions office.

Miss Porter's School is a highly prestigious school in the US.
