English slang.

Pin Money, extra household income, normally earned by the house wife in a part time cleaning or shop job, used to pay for extra's like holidays and special occasions.

Our pin money took us to Spain for two weeks last August.

Said with a sarcastic tone in voice. Used to tell someone that "nobody cares." Often used when one does not want to listen to a long story someone else wants to tell. This phrase mostlikely originated on the early 1990's show "Full House."

Person 1: I have so much to tell you! I just had my first horseback riding lesson and jumped my first fence in one day!
Person 2: Well pin a rose on your nose.

A model whose mass-produced pictures see wide appeal as pop culture. Pin-ups are intended for informal display. Pin-up girls are often glamour models, fashion models, and actresses.

These days men can be considered “pin ups” as well.

Modern pin-ups tend to dress in vintage clothing inspired by the pin-ups of the 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, etc.

Lauren Bacall, Betty Grable, Bettie Page were all pin-ups.

If you leave the 5 pin standing alone at the end of your turn while bowling it means that you are going to bed alone or not having sex that night.

if you knock all the other pins and leave the center pin, then you have left the 5 pin. That is called leaving the 5 pin when bowling and it = no sex for you.
