Kotaro lives alone

An anime about a four year old boy named kotaro who, ironically lives alone. Throughout the series we uncover more of his past neglect from his parents. He lives in an apartment building with a burnt out manga writer and animator, a lady who works as a hostess for those like rent a woman for a night, a man who has a child of divorce and some other lady who no one cares about because she shows up like halfway into the series

Person 1:“Hey what’s your favorite anime?”
Person 2:“It’s kotaro lives alone”

The usage of the modern slang prevalent in the northern parts of India is used similar to the commonly used word, 'Dadagiri' How Dadagiri is used to talk about Dada-like oppressive and intimidating behavior, kotagiri is used to refer to behavior like that of the people of Kota. The term is not about any culture that is native to the place, Kota, but refers to the attitudes, behavior and mindset of students and the young of this generation. This is because Kota is an educational hub and is inhabited by millions of students. This student population is now one of the defining features of the city of Kota, and is what its known for. It is hence that the term, 'Kotagiri' has gained any traction, because of the identity that the city of Kota has built for itself.
