Hybrid learning

Hybrid learning is a way of frustrating incredibly talented educators to the point of making them question why they ever became teachers by asking them to plan and execute a quality educational experiences when they aren’t even sure which kids they are teaching at what time while delivering both a physical and digital classroom experience to kids who can’t breath, sit still or figure out how to turn on their microphone for the online aspect of completing their learning objective all while struggling with the kid sitting next to them with glassy eyes, a hacking cough and taste buds that don’t work.

I’m retiring from teaching at the tender age of 32 because of hybrid learning.

1. While playing hard rock, you tend to mix it with jazz, punk, and ska guitar riffs for a melodic then upbeat sound. Normally played with double bass pedals for the drums and picking on the bass giutar.

2. When a band mixes two or more genres to create a different sound and style than the genres seperately.

Hybrid living is having a remote old-school log cabin with wood stove and kerosene lanterns, while utilizing modern conveniences such as internet and refrigeration via power collected from solar panels.

When you are texting one or more person and one of your text messages turns into a hybrid of the other texts.

Text one to Joe: Did you climb that hill this morning?
Text two to Beth: Did you go out with Jack and Jill last night?
Text three to John: Did you find any water in the basement?
Text four and hybrid texting (you, trying to respond to their responses--to John): Jack and Jill when up the hill to find water?
