derpy

(adjective): a word to describe something so innocently stupid, it can be preceived as in various ways including (but not limited to): 1. funny, 2. adorable, 3. weird/unique, 4. pointless, 5. dumb, 6. heinous, etc.

It’s up to the user’s choice on how they decide to use the word, and is situational. There is no wrong way to use it.

1. Hey did you hear what Kevin said last night about armpit sweat? It was so derpy.

2. We looked so derpy in carnival mirror, because our legs were so short.

3. That derpy person who wears a fanny pack wherever they go.

4. I hate the derpy traffic when the only reason people are slowing down is to see what happened.

5. That kid dropped out of high school and now he’s become a derpy soundcloud rapper.

6. Jade: “I really hate that derpy frat guy at Fiji parties who’s so touchy.”

Diane: “Oh Ed? He’s worse than derpy; he’s had multiple complaints of Sexual Assault and the University has done nothing about it!”

Someone who refers to outdated references or information that is no longer funny.

Derpy Dan can also refer to a person or persons that make statements or jokes about an event that is untrue, or that did not occur.

Person 1: Hey did you hear John talking about how the cops swatted his neighbors home because the husband was mad that his cheated?

Person 2: No, John is just a Derpy Dan, that is not what happened and he is just trying to make stuff up to get attention.
