dude by default

A general rule applied to any androgynous person or character. Often used in relation to emasculate emos and goths. The rule states that if one cannot determine the individual's gender within 5 seconds, the person in question is automatically a man, or dude.

I always thought Justin Bieber was actually a chick, but then I applied the dude by default rule.

Women who choose to live their lives with other women as companions because they cannot get along with men in any other way but sexually.

Mandy finds sex with men more satisfying than with women but lives as a lesbian by default because outside of the bedroom, she can't find anything she likes or has in common with males.

Defaultation basically translates into, "Duh, it's a known fact. Default. Obvious?"

a) Used when an observation is brought up that is
either so obvious that it was stupid to even bring up
or b) Used when wanting to affirm the fact brought up--in this case, used as a compliment or an insult. An exaggeration, either way.

a) Jon: I am a boy
Maria: Defaultation.

b)Maria: I'm cool
Jon: Defaultation.

When a woman has been hurt by so many men that she then only feels attraction to another woman. This makes them a lesbian by default.
