DHB is the nickname that Raiders fans have bestowed upon the highly underrated wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey. The late and great owner Al
Davis was blasted for taking this little known wide out as the 7th overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. But the more he plays, the more DHB justifies Al
Davis' faith in him. Over the last 3 games, as of October
21, 2011, he'
s attained 115 yards on 4 catches, 99 yards on 7 catches and a TD, and 82 yards on 6 catches. And there's no doubt about his speed!
Michael Crabtree, the guy that the experts think that Al
Davis should have taken instead,
may have more talent, but I'd rather have DHB on my team. DHB has a great attitude, works hard and is a humble
player. He's the opposite of the diva wide receiver(and Crabtree is one of them) that's become so commonplace in the modern NFL.
DHB is faster, has a better work ethic, and has a better
attitude than Michael Crabtree. DHB is also cheaper and didn't hold out for over a month to get a
big contract as an unproven rookie. DHB will have over 900 yards during the
2011 season and will soon be one of the better receivers in the league.
