Hindian refers to anyone (mostly North Indians) who thinks Hindi is the National Language of India and expects every Indian to know Hindi.

Hindians make language into a test of one's patriotism. As if not knowing Hindi makes one "anti-national".

Extravagantly luxurious, over the top flaunting of wealth, especially in Hinsdale. Also the name of a newspaper which regularly has ads for Tiffany's, Gucci, and other upscale stores. Some examples: 3 car garage, 3 cars, cell phone at age 10, iPod at age 7, house with 3 stories
