Person 1: "So then in the first season (blank) goes to rescue (blank) and you think it's out of the kindness of their heart, but way later on in season five you find out that..."

Warbling 

The act of crying and laughing at the same time.

When you're crying your heart out then a friend says something that tickles you and you become stuck in a circle of crying but somehow managing to laugh simultaneously.

'I was so upset, but then he showed me his Swaflamurtle and I was warbling til the cows came home.'
