In golf when you try and play a Lob shot and miss hit the ball making it only move by a couple of yards.

I had to chip over a bunker but had a Lobbie and duffed it in to the sand.

Knob Lobber 

A member of the group, “The Knob Lobbers,” is one that lobs knobs. These knob lobbers operate as one, being a hive mind of pyros. The Knob Lobbers can be encountered within the popular game Team Fortress 2. In such an event, wacky, maybe even silly shenanigans will rapidly ensue, due to the alarming lack of brain cells among the aforementioned hive mind.

Libbies and Connies 

Short for Liberals and Conservatives. A Libby is a derogatory term for someone who preaches non stop about social issues without having a clue what they are talking about. A Connie, on the other hand, is an insulting term for someone whose head is still up BushSr./Reagan/Nixon/W's buttcrack.
