the extreme variation of a "hipster". also known as- the radical hipster

i went to this rhipster party last night: there was enough second-hand smoke to devastate the cast of mad men, and satisfiable amounts of referencing to david lynch films that would impress even the most pretentious of scoffing gypsies.

hipster, radical hipster, scenester, gypsy, vintage clothing, unfiltered-cigarettes and the opposition of belmonts, second-hand opinions, pretentious, arguments for the sake of arguments, trying really hard not to care (and caring), religious views based off of day-time tv, misunderstood symbol-tattoos, photography, frugal lifestyles, vegetarianism, veganism, dim-lighting, modernism, post-modernism, candles, broken things, dirty, things found in alleys, people found in alleys, starving your pets, sass, philosophy majors, "artists", like to p(art)y

The magnitude of most fartquakes is measured on the Ripster scale, invented by Toots McGee in 1957. The Ripster magnitude is calculated from the amplitude of the largest seismic cheek flapping recorded for the fartquake, no matter what type of wave was the strongest.

At the (fill in the blank mexican restaurant) the other night, I was standing at the urinal draining the main when a 9.2...possibly up to 9.5 Ripster scale fartquake exploded in the stall adjacent the urinal. I cut the stream off prematurely and headed for the exit with a texas-sized pee stain in my drawers.

1. a person, usually a nerdy, moneyed White American male living in a metropolitan city, who follows the latest trends and fashions of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, speaks in a fake Brazilian Portuguese accent, and derives a sense of toughness from training in grappling while actually not being able to fight in real life.
