When you click on a button but don't release the click fast enough and drag the mouse off the button, negating the click attempt. Then you are left unsure if the button works.

When you catch an individual looking at you and they immediately look away only to look back at you soon after. A phrase derived from the old fashion cat clocks that would move their eyes from side to side as the seconds went by.
