Yude is a word derived from the ancient Egyptian term Udjat.
The Udjat was regarded as a powerful protective amulet; it is frequently found in tombs, on coffins and on the seal which was placed over the incision in the mummy through which the internal organs were removed.

Pronunciation of Yudelka yudel-ka

They made the first CD-R. They still make the best CD and DVD recordables, of course Made in Japan.

Whenever you see CD-R Made in Japan, it's Taiyo Yuden. Also, TY DVD media is by TDK, Sony, Panasonic, Plextor and Fuji, and sometimes also by Verbatim and Sony. Their own brand in Japan, Korea and Greece is That's.

Their DVD+R media is significantly better than their DVD-R media is, because DVD+R is MMCD is Blu-Ray is good old CD is Philips and Sony.

March 23 should be a public holiday because Taiyo Yuden was founded on March 23, 1950 by Hikohachi Sato.
