(sig'-no)--n.
An abbreviation of the term significant other, less unwieldy, used to refer to someone who is more than a boyfriend or girlfriend, but not yet a husband or a wife--usually a co-habitating lover, with whom one shares a long-term sexual relationship. May be also be used as a gender-neutral term of reference for a same-sex partner.

roloff sign 

Condition that occurs in men where the scrotum turns a dusky blue or blackish color that is an accurate prognosticator of impending death. This is not to be confused with "blue balls" occurring with sexual frustration. Roloff sign happens after trauma, heart attack, drug overdose, etc. in which the guy is near death (most often seen in a hospital setting). Despite extraordinary measures, roloff sign indicates a poor outcome is likely.

American Sign Language 

A series of hand gestures, each representing a letter of the alphabet or an entire phrase; Very useful to deaf people & also if you're somewhere ya gotta be quiet so you just sign instead of talk. It originated in the early 19th century in the American School for the deaf in Hartford, Connecticut.

Monica's daughter is deaf so I got to see American Sign Language in action. It was a very interesting experience & her siblings knew how to sign too; their fingers just flew!

If the President genuinely cared about women's rights, he'd do less virtue-signaling on Twitter and more action.
